The MetroLink Roadway Package is a major infrastructure initiative aimed at improving urban mobility and connectivity. Covering 12.5 km of roadway, it links metro stations with key residential, business, and industrial hubs. The project incorporates durable road surfaces, smart traffic signaling, and efficient drainage systems to ensure long-term reliability. Dedicated bus and cycling lanes are included to encourage sustainable transportation. Construction was carried out with minimal disruption to existing traffic flow, using phased execution methods. Landscaping and sound barriers along the route reduce noise pollution while enhancing aesthetics. Safety features such as pedestrian overpasses, crossings, and proper lighting make the road accessible to all. By integrating smart transport planning with robust engineering, MetroLink boosts urban productivity and reduces daily travel times. It represents a forward-looking model of sustainable urban infrastructure.

The final milestone focused on road surfacing, safety audits, and load testing of bridges and elevated structures. Wayfinding signage, speed management systems, and barrier installations were completed. A trial run of public transport services was conducted to ensure seamless operation. With official inauguration, MetroLink Roadway Package was opened to the public, improving connectivity and reducing travel times across the region.
Intelligent transport systems (ITS) were installed, including smart traffic lights, electronic toll systems, and digital signboards for efficient traffic management. Bus bays, pedestrian subways, and cycle tracks were developed to encourage multi-modal transport. Street lighting with solar backup, CCTV cameras, and automated monitoring units enhanced security and efficiency. Landscaping along the corridor added both beauty and environmental benefits.
Major structural works included the construction of flyovers, bridges, and multi-lane carriageways. Reinforced concrete pillars and beams were erected for elevated sections, while service roads and pedestrian crossings were integrated for safe urban connectivity. Noise barriers and green buffers were also developed along sensitive zones. Asphalt surfacing for the primary roadway lanes was initiated.
Construction began with deep excavation and foundation preparation for overpasses, underpasses, and roadbeds. Key utilities such as water pipelines, gas lines, and electrical cables were carefully relocated to minimize disruption. Drainage systems and stormwater channels were integrated to safeguard the roadway from flooding risks. Base layers of the roadway were laid with high-quality aggregates for long-term durability.
The MetroLink Roadway Package was conceived as a modern transit corridor connecting key urban and suburban hubs. Detailed surveys, soil investigations, and traffic studies were conducted to design a future-ready roadway system. Government and transport authority approvals were secured, focusing on safety standards, environmental clearances, and urban mobility integration. Early groundwork included land acquisition, fencing, and temporary site offices.
